Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. STEP 1 demonstrated that once-weekly semaglutide with lifestyle intervention produced sustained weight reduction versus placebo in adults with overweight or obesity.1

Approved semaglutide labeling describes use with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, and includes a boxed warning regarding thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents.2

This formulation includes glycine, a conditionally essential amino acid involved in pathways such as glutathione synthesis.4 Glycine is being studied for metabolic roles relevant to obesity and related conditions; lower circulating glycine levels are observed in those settings.3 That literature does not establish that adding glycine makes this compounded product more effective than semaglutide alone for weight or glucose control.

Compounded as a sterile injectable for patient-specific prescriptions when medically necessary. It is not an FDA-approved finished drug. Prescribers individualize dosing and follow-up. Discuss gastrointestinal tolerability, contraindications (including MTC/MEN2 history), and monitoring needs with your clinician.
