How to send us a prescription
Three ways to send an Rx, listed in our recommended order. New compounds are easier when you call first.
Preferred
1. Electronic prescribing
Send through your EMR’s pharmacy directory (Surescripts).
- Look us up by name (Connect Wellness), phone (208) 593-0133, or NPI 1508725623.
- Most EMRs don’t have a dedicated compound entry. Enter the primary active ingredient as the medication, then put the full formulation (every ingredient with strengths, dosage form, base or vehicle, and total quantity) in the SIG or Notes-to-Pharmacy field.
- For controlled substances, including compounded testosterone (Schedule III) and Schedule II preparations, your e-prescribing software must be EPCS-certified. EPCS is the required channel for Schedule II compounds.

- For non-Schedule II controlled substances, faxed prescriptions are accepted as the original.
- We compound Schedule II preparations, but a faxed Schedule II can’t serve as the original. Send those as an EPCS electronic prescription instead.

Hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)

GLP-1 formulations
One of our highest-volume categories. Available at a prescriber's direction in the strengths and dosing schedules they specify.
Sterile compounding (USP <797> cleanroom)
Sterile preparations including sterile testosterone, prepared in a USP <797> compliant cleanroom. Many compounders are non-sterile only; we offer both.

Getting started
Do I need a prescriber account to send a prescription?
No. You can send an Rx immediately by electronic prescribing (Surescripts), fax, or phone — no account setup required. Call first when you're working out a new compound and a pharmacist will help you get the formulation right.
How do refills work?
Refills are coordinated on the schedule you specify on the prescription; we contact the patient when one is due.
How do I transfer a patient's existing compounded prescription to you?
Have the patient call us, or send a new prescription directly and we'll coordinate with their previous pharmacy.
Prescribing & delivery
Which states can you dispense compounded prescriptions to?
Idaho, Oregon, and Utah. We compound on-site in Eagle, Idaho and ship directly to the patient — we're delivery-only, with no walk-in or pickup. If your patient is outside those three states, call us before prescribing.
How quickly can you prepare and ship a compound?
Most non-sterile compounds ship within a few business days; sterile preparations may take longer. Call us for time-sensitive orders.
Do you compound controlled substances, including testosterone?
Yes. Compounded testosterone is Schedule III and can arrive by EPCS or fax. Schedule II compounds require an EPCS electronic prescription — a faxed Schedule II can't serve as the original. We're EPCS-enabled.
Compounding capabilities
Do you offer sterile compounding?
Yes. We prepare sterile compounds in a USP <797>-compliant cleanroom, including sterile testosterone and other injectables, with both positive- and negative-pressure environments. Many compounding pharmacies handle non-sterile work only.
Can you compound a strength or dosage form that isn't commercially available?
Yes — custom strengths, bases, dosage forms, and allergen or dye exclusions are the core of what we do, prepared at your direction. Call the pharmacist to confirm feasibility before you write the script.
Billing & quality
Do you bill insurance?
No. Compounded medications aren't covered by insurance, so orders are self-pay. We confirm pricing and payment with the patient before anything is dispensed — worth mentioning to patients up front.
What are your quality and sourcing standards?
Active ingredients come from FDA-registered facilities, and we operate in accordance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>. Compounded preparations aren't FDA-approved drug products and are made pursuant to a valid prescription.
Are you a 503A compounding pharmacy?
Yes. We are a Section 503A state-licensed compounding pharmacy. We prepare patient-specific medications pursuant to valid prescriptions for named patients — not for office stock or bulk distribution under Section 503B.
