Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Connect Wellness is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. The known exceptions are listed under Known limitations below.
What we have done
Our storefront is built with semantic HTML and accessible patterns, including a single main heading per page, labeled landmarks for navigation, main content, and footer, and skip links that let keyboard users jump past repeated navigation.
Every form field in checkout has a visible label and a matching autocomplete hint, so browsers and assistive technology can identify each field. Required fields are marked, validation errors are announced and tied to the field they describe, and the focused element always shows a visible outline for keyboard users.
Images include descriptive alternative text, interactive controls have accessible names, and cart updates are announced through a live status region.
How we tested
In June 2026 we evaluated the pages that carry the core shopping flow: the home page, a product page, the cart, and checkout, along with the wholesale application form. Testing combined automated tooling (Lighthouse), inspection of the accessibility tree, and manual keyboard navigation.
This was an internal self-evaluation. We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit or completed formal testing with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.
Known limitations
Third-party payment. Card details are entered in a secure payment window hosted by our payment processor (Wind River Financial and NMI). That component is provided by the processor, and its accessibility is outside our direct control. If you have difficulty completing payment, you can place an order by phone using the contact details below.
Areas not yet fully assessed. We have not yet completed an accessibility review of signed-in account pages and other authenticated areas. We have also not yet formally verified that every page reflows without loss of content at very narrow widths or at high zoom levels.
Assistive technology. Because formal screen reader testing is still in progress, some screens may contain issues that automated tools and keyboard testing do not surface.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and with the assistive technology those platforms provide. It may not work reliably with browsers more than two major versions old.
