Amitriptyline (used here for its local analgesic effect), baclofen (a muscle relaxant), and gabapentin (an anticonvulsant for nerve pain) are combined in this compounded topical cream. It's commonly formulated for localized neuropathic pain, such as diabetic neuropathy, by pairing agents that act on different pain pathways.
